GENDER REVEAL PAINTING

Summer of 2023, I received an email: Its a boy. Not for me, but my sister. She had permitted the doctors to entrust me with the lab results in order to do this gender-reveal painting. I used mostly cool blues to illustrate this abstract beach scene and indicate that a baby boy would soon be added to the family. As we gathered around the white easel, the small family of three couldn’t wait to see what the painting was about to reveal.
